My sincere condolences to you June and the Rector family for the loss of Dale. He was a man of integrity and vision while having the ability to interact with people in a special way. He truly did live Rotary's four way test and has been and inspiration to many people.

America is fortunate to have had a few creative geniuses who PERSEVERED against great odds. Dale was many things..all good!
I can see Dale now .... his arm around Dick Baxter looking over the magnificent expanse of heaven ...smiling and saying .."Ya know Dick, maybe there is a better way here too.... lets talk about it, after all our best will be here one of these days.

My sympathies to the Rector family on the passing of Dale. Few are those that have a vision like Dale had. Even fewer are those that create a vision and move so many to action. You will be missed Dale…mission accomplished.

When Dale smiled at you, you smiled back, it was contagious and full of joy.

Dale's innovation, forsight and passion opened the door for all of us in the real estate industry to experience greatness by being a part of a company he created and so proudly dedicted his life in developing.
Dale will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

May peace be with all the Rector Family.

Dear Rectors,
What a heavy heart I share with you. The forty years of friendship with Dale are so cherished. I think back to 1965 when five us started Realty Executives and worked so hard to grow it as a changing concept that rewarded those who took their work seriously. How we battled State Commissioner Talley (who was later indicted) as well as our traditional competitors. Such exciting and challenging years to professionalize the industry and keep food on the table...quite a juggle at times...with an exceptional leader who took the risks necessary to keep his dream alive. I was truly blessed to have Dale in my life as a friend, mentor and colleague. We shared concerns of business, family, friends, and life problems. Everyone should be blessed to have a friend like him. I will miss him. Jean Watson

To June, Rich, Robyn and the entire Rector family,
Our hearts go out to you along with our prayers. Dale was such a sweet person and someone who touched and enhanced so many lives, but none more than his family. He will live on through you and with you in so many ways. And in the same way, you enriched his life and helped make him such a happy man. What a wonderful life he had and such a wonderful family. Who can ask for more.

June, Gary, Rich, Becky and The Rector Family:
I was saddened to hear the news of Dale's death. I am so thankful that I had an opportunity to be involved in his "family" business. I say "family" because that is always how he made me feel. He was always such an example of how people should treat people. I remember stories of the "early days".... something about having to put the phone in a drawer so that the Rectors could have an uninterrupted family dinner.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My sincerely sympathies go out to the Rector family and everyone at Realty Executives. Even though I have only been a member of the Realty Executive family for a short time I felt immediately at home during the broker/owner training. I knew from the way his son, Rich and various other colleagues spoke so highly of him that Dale was a man that I would love being associated with. I thank you for your vision and know that you will be truly missed but your legacy will live on through all of us forever.
