I remember my meeting at my Franchise
Training in 1989. I found Dale Rector to be
the most humble, wise, giant of a leader and
a very family loving gentleman. He left such
an impression on me that I spend at least 10 minutes at every recruiting interview, telling the Dale Rector story, and the great role model and benefactor he has been. Grateful for the life he lived and loved.

We lost my father to lung cancer when he was only 74. I am involved in fund-raising for cancer research through the Terry Fox Run at our summer home in Canada.

Dale had a warmth and spirit that was inpirational to the entire company. I had the pleasure of seeing Dale at numerous conventions and get-togethers, and it he was always smiling and would always take the time to reach out. My granfather always said that you are "never too big to say hello," and Dale certainly proved that to be true. Dale and his wife, June, would dance the night away at Realty Execs conventions, and their love could easily fill an entire room. My warmest condolences to the entire Rector family - I am proud to work at such a special company.

Dear Rich,

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I lost my dad, John Salaski, on May 7, 2004. He was 78, and a victim of Alzehmier's. Even though many people told me I was lucky to have him in my life as long as I did, that still doesn't ease the pain. I think about him all the time, and thank God that He gave me one of the greatest fathers anyone could ever hope for. As for your dad, I will never forget the time I sat right beside him at one of the seminars at the Radisson Resort. That was about two years ago. He was so sweet, and soft-spoken, and when John Foltz introduced him to the hundreds of Realtors that filled that enormous room, it brought tears to my eyes. Dale stood up and that place when wild with thunderous applause, cheering and whistling! Rich, it appears to me that God also gave you one of the greatest fathers anyone could ever hope for.
