Thirty years ago I had the good fortune to meet Dale and become his assistant. He became my friend and mentor. He was always there for me, during the good times and bad. Early in my employment my mom became terminally ill, Dale was my rock! Whenever I needed anything, including transfusions, Dale stepped in and quietly and quickly took care of moving mountains for me.

Dale always challenged me to do the impossible and think way outside any box.

Dale gave me the best gift another human can give you, his friendship. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Rector family.

40 years ago I was fresh out of college, first job and transferred to Phoenix. Dale was the realtor who went through a lot of hoops to get the first home purchase deal done. A few months later I received an announcement about the successful launch of a new concept. Our paths did not really cross again but I have fond memories of the excellence of that time.
