Eric & Anita Gallagher (Albuquerque, NM) It was so unfortunate that we never had the chance to actually meet Dale. His life of success and strength in the real estate profession has provided us the courage to have faith in our dreams. He fought the hard fight to better the lives of all realtors. He will be dearly missed. Thank you Dale for providing us the opportunity of a lifetime.

Tayte Holley (Brandon, Florida) I was checking my emails today and received this very sad email. I did not know. I read the book he wrote about his business and how he got started. I was so inspired that I applied at a Realty Executives and have been working there for 1 1/2 years and have had the best experience with this company. It is informing, fair and a professional real estate company. I cannot thank Dale Rector enough for being so brave and moving forward with his dream. I have learned a lot in the past few years being with Realty Executives and I am sure I will learn more. I believe he is in a great place and know Realty Executives will continue to grow. My sympathy to his family and just know he was appreciated and very inspirational not only to me but those who knew him personally and those who knew of him. I wish, I could have met him and shook his hand just to say, "thanks." God bless you all.
Oliver and Kelly Hundelt (Paradise Valley, AZ) Dear Rich and family,

Elizabeth H. Garas (Scottsdale, Arizona) What a blessed life this very talented man has had, not only to be dearly loved by his beautiful family, but also to be highly esteemed within his ultimate chosen profession. Having met Dale through his wife, June, my precious P.E.O. sister, I learned over the years that we shared many things in common... we had both played a woodwind instrument in a symphony orchestra (he, oboe...I, flute), and we had both enjoyed multiple wonderful professions before finally choosing a career in Real Estate. (One of Dale's many gifts was that he always found ways to make connections with others).

David and Jeanne Zimmerman (Scottsdale, Az.) We always enjoyed the company of Dale; he had a warmth and presence that was very engaging. His sense of humor was unusual and witty. He was such a special man, and will be missed by all. Our condolences to his entire family.
So sorry to hear of your loss. It's joyful to see all the wonderful thoughts that many have shared as a testimony that Dale has touched many lives. I have never had the opportunity to meet him in person. I couldn't tell you what is voice sounds like...but I can tell you that you don't have to meet him to know the kind of person that Dale is. Just speak to anyone that knows him...and you will clearly see that his spirit and love for life and is unlike anything else.
Mark & Margarita Vost (Florida) Our thoughts and prays are with you all at what we know is the most difficult time for a family. We have lost a leader you have lost a father! We are so sorry. Love always, Mark & Margarita Vost, N.E. Fla. and the Great Lakes Region
My deepest sympathies go out to the Rector family. The Realty Executive family will always be very important to me----it is where I got my start in the mortgage business over 20 years ago in the then "Tatum and Shea" office. I had the privilege to meet meet Mr. Rector numerous times and he was always kind and offered encouragement to a young loan officer that was trying to get loans in a 14% interest rate market.

Following a fellow Realtor friend of mine, I joined the Realty Executives world early in 1977 and spent 3 great years with the organization. I met Dale early on in my tenure there and visited him on more than one occassion and was always impressed with his intellect and positive spirit. No doubt he will be missed by many people who appreciated him.
Larry Naso (North Scottsdale Office) I am so sorry for your loss. I know it is a difficult time as I just lost my mother 3 weeks ago. However, I am sure that they are both in a wonderful place now around God's table hanging around with those friends who have passed before them.
Todd & Kari Sumney (Scottsdale, Arizona) Few men have ever impacted the lives of so many people in such a positive way. Dale was a visionary with remarkable ideas, but he also possessed the courage, fortitude and work ethic to put those ideas into action. He truly was a great man, and his family, his circle of friends and his company are a tribute to that fact. We were all so lucky to have met him, known him or to have spent time with him.

Marc Roth (HWA - Buffalo Grove, IL) To Rich & the Rector Family:
| |
Ron and Becky Barber (Frisco/Plano Texas) To Rich and the rest of your family, our thoughts are with you in this time of sorrow. The few times I met and talked with Mr. Rector, it was a wonderful conversation. He was one of the most gracious men I have met in my life.
